Archives For genuine relationships

I’m going to share the 6th Mindset straight from the book! This one is so good, it doesn’t need altering.

LivetoGiveLive to Give teaches us that abundance in one’s life is a cycle, and so to get love, respect, and financial security we must first learn to give those things. This mindset also teaches that the greatest gift we can ever give is to find and leverage our unique genius to maximize our positive impact on the world, knowing that good things will be returned to us in kind. Woooohoo — that’s powerful. Did you get it? I hope so.

You can start this process by doing some of these things. Like I mentioned, in earlier posts, you can get all the details of the 7Mindsets in the book. So go get yourself a copy.

I’m late getting this post out to you today because — this is a mindset that is really near and dear to my heart. I WROTE A BOOK ABOUT IT. I must admit that I have some AMAZING critical connections. They are working for me even when I don’t have a clue about it.

An interesting set of events happened today. I made a new connection — I hope that we will find the critical things that make our connection matter. And then I re-connected, a few hours later, with a critical connection I had made several years ago. The events that surrounded these two meetings really through me for a loop. It was if I were having one seamless conversation but with two different people at different times.

OK, enough with the riddles. I will keep it simple. The “We Are Connected” mindset encourages you to explore the synergies in all relationships and learn to empower one another.

1) Embrace Everyone 2) Maximize Positive Relationships 3) Build Your Drream Team and 4) Lead with Value.

We Are Connected

Cultivate Critical Connections: A Guide for Creating Genuine Relationships is designed for college bound students and young adults who are at the start of building authentic relationships. I teach my readers how to nurture, evaluate, and sustain their connections in an easy to recall process called the 3C-Technique. I explain that their personal and professional growth depends on their original intention for developing relationships and that the benefits of those critical relationships can be the springboard to meaningful opportunities

At some point in our lives, we realize that we are who we are because of the critical connections we’ve made. When we take the time to create genuine connections, what we’re saying is that we value the people we are connecting with. The 3C-Technique approach– is simple and goes like this:

  • If we take the time to master how we cultivate relationships,
  • examine the fine details of what’s critical (authentic) in our relationships,
  • and then commit to the effort of keeping those connections intact, we can change the trajectory of our lives.
